Bill Connard – Founder & CEO
Bill is a serial entrepreneur and successful businessman with expertise in database management, SEO and web site programming and many years experience in building and developing multi location, distribution channels and partnerships.
Prior to forming TLS, Bill was Co-Founder and systems architect for Hero Industries, San Diego based provider of location based services based on SEO and SaaS technology. In 2002, Bill founded a digital content replication and distribution business with a nationwide dealer channel of more than 3000 US and 450 Canadian retailers.
In 1999, Bill founded NicheStuff.com to specialize in providing mini CD and DVD business cards. using advanced SEO, Bill rapidly built a nationwide service. Customers included American Express, Sony and Visa.
Bill is a mentor and sponsor to a small number of San Diego based Internet start- ups, where his experience in local search engine optimization, business acumen, problem solving and process vision is invaluable.
John Button – President & COO
John is a business owner, investor and manager. His background includes multiple senior level management roles in technology businesses, founding a number of companies, executive consulting, mergers/acquisitions
and product development.
Prior to joining TLS, Mr. Button was the Chief Operating Officer at Del Mar Database (DMD), a residential mortgage originations software company, with responsibility for product management, customer support, professional services, and information technology teams. While there he helped grow the business from single product small market to national scope, doubling revenue and adding more than 12 products resulting in the sale of DMD to an S&P 500 firm.
Previously, John was the President of RF/Spectrum Decision Science Corp (RDSC). During his tenure, the firm’s flagship residential mortgage servicing rights management product grew to dominance in it’s market— processing over 70% of all outstanding U.S. mortgages. As a investor, John participated in the sale of RDSC to Fiserv then operated the business as its president. He went on to lead the integration of RDSC into Fiserv’s IPS-Sendero financial risk product line as a Sr. Vice President with responsibility for all financial risk software product businesses.
John's background includes founding a management consulting firm, a number of management positions in IBM’s sales and engineering organizations and participation in a range of aerospace projects with the U.S. Navy and IBM on aircraft such as the T-45, AH-1T, EC-130Q, EC-135, B-2 Spirit, the Endeavour Space Shuttle and drone systems.
He has two adult children, a fabulous wife and many motorcycles in his garage.
